CABLE GUARDS FOR GENIE MATERIAL LIFTS AT IHP

How many times have you stood behind a material lift, cranked the handles so you could lift truss, motors, air ducks, or anything and as you cranked the handles, you stood there looking at the aircraft cable and thought to yourself "Is That Cable In My Face Going To BREAK? Is It".

This is something I thought of every time I used the material lift. Then several good friends talking about this cable, so we decided to do something about it. 

We build our first CABLE GUARD for our Genie 24ft Superlift. The first guard we built looked very nice and worked great. It worked so well, we build 4 more and installed the guards on all of our rental Genie Material Lifts.

COVID-19 "WOW'

I have lived in Las Vegas for a long time. In all that time, I have not ever seen or do I remember of a Casino, Gambling Hall, Production Show ever CLOSING in LAS VEGAS, NV. This is my first. If this is going on in Las Vegas, I can't even imagine what the country or the world is going through. 

I have added this to In-House Production's Blog as a reminder and date as to when this took place. 

Casino's close, the food is off the shelves, stores are cutting hours, and when or where will this end. 

As the Coronavirus is bad, I believe the plan to keep it from spreading maybe even worse. 

May we stay safe and hope this virus ends soon so everyone can get back to some kind of life. Casino's open, Shows and events come back, and stores stock back up with food. 

In-House Production wishes everyone the best of an unpleasant chain of events. 

NEW CASTER DOLLIES FOR STAGE PLATFORMS.

 When was the last time you tried to load platforms into a truck and the casters got in the way? How many times have you stacked platforms on platforms and have the caster frame bend? How many times have you needed a simple way to add casters to a platform without some monster task.

We at In-House Production had all those same problems. As the idea is old, we believe the design is new and strong. Adds a lot of support from and to the platform. 

We painted it Yellow as this is our color. What color would you like? We added IHP into the steel so we don't have to worry about losing stickers. We added our barcode number into the steel so we can track each TTC Dollie Caster Plate. No more stickers to lose.  

Made at our shop for our platforms. They could fit Steel-Deck carts if we had Steel-Deck carts. They can fit any 2" by 2" square tubing receiver.
