Flyrail Rope and Hardware at In-House Production
Flyrail systems include critical components that wear over time and require regular inspection. At In-House Production (IHP), we specialize in theater flyrail inspections. Our team will assess your system, identify components in good working condition, and provide a detailed report on parts that may need repair or replacement—ensuring your rigging system stays safe and reliable.
Flyrail systems can range from a single arbor loaded with counterweights to more than 50 arbors in use at once. When operated improperly, these systems pose serious safety risks to anyone unfamiliar with their function. That’s why In-House Production (IHP) not only offers thorough flyrail inspections and repairs but also provides on-site training for your staff on the safe and proper use of flyrail systems. Our goal is to help maintain a safe, efficient, and fully compliant theater environment.
Just like the purchase line rope, rope locks are subject to wear and tear over time and must be regularly inspected and replaced to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the flyrail system. While rope locks may appear similar and function in the same way, differences in bolt patterns can present challenges when replacing older units with new ones.
A well-maintained theater flyrail system can greatly expand the creative possibilities for productions—provided that both the system and its operators have a strong understanding of its functions and are trained to use it safely.
In-House Production (IHP) is here to help.

STAGE PLATFORMS USED FOR MORE THAN STAGES.
To drive an old, heavy all-steel car onto stage platforms without needing additional wood reinforcement, the platforms must be designed to handle significant weight. Here are the key factors to consider:
You need Material Strength in the platforms.
You need Surface Rigidity in the platforms.
You need Support Structure in the platforms.
You need Load Capacity for the platforms.
You need Size and Configurations.
Bomb Spot chose In-House Production to supply stage platforms for their car show displays at the Las Vegas Parks and Recreation Tacos and Tamales event in March 2025 because of In-House Production's expertise in providing robust and reliable staging solutions.
Their platforms and truss are specifically engineered to support the substantial weight of classic cars, ensuring safety and stability during the event. This decision underscores In-House Production's reputation for delivering high-quality, durable staging solutions tailored to meet unique event needs.
Give In-House Production a call for your next event trusting and staging needs.

NEW VIDEO WALL TOWERS
TRUSS STRUCTURE FOR VIDEO WALL BY IHP
In-House Production (IHP) was invited to Laughlin, Nevada, to assist one of the hotels in enhancing their large outdoor self-climbing shade stage for a spectacular outdoor event.
The Video Wall Truss Structure was strategically positioned directly behind the stage to optimize visibility. This setup included climbing truss towers equipped with four 1-ton chain hoists embedded within the cross truss. Additionally, a 12-inch spigot truss was incorporated specifically to support the video wall, enhancing the overall staging configuration.
The design allowed the video wall to operate independently from the main structure, enabling it to be raised or lowered as needed. The tower legs were securely anchored using 3600-pound weights and reinforced with additional back supports connected directly to the legs, ensuring stability and safety throughout the event.
Additionally, a 12-inch truss was integrated at the base of the video wall to counteract any swinging motion. This support, connected to the towers, ensured the video wall remained stable and reduced any potential bending or flexing during operation.
Need a large outdoor video wall for your next event? Contact us at 702-631-4748 or via email at info@ihplabor.com, and let our experts assist with your video wall installation needs.
